Today, when we picked up the mail from our Post Office box, I received a Christmas card from myLotter Valerie Routhieaux (@just4him). Isn’t it lovely?
I know Valerie posted it well before Christmas but our postal service is very bad at the moment. They have cut down services and mail takes much longer than it did to arrive.
I’m thrilled to receive it and have messaged Valerie to say a special thank you for her kindness.

on average right now the USPS (postal service) says a 2 to 4 week delay on most overseas mail.

Well at least you are in Australia. A Christmas card (which had a gift card in it) just arrived at it's destination. It was sent on Dec. 18!

It took more than 3 weeks for cards to arrive in the States that I sent on December 9!!!! That was nice of Valerie to send you a card.

@LindaOHio That is really inconvenient, especially if they fine you for late payment.

@JudyEv Yes, it is. I paid an electric bill late because the mail was so slow! We didn't receive the bill until the day it was due. :-(
