Morning harvest....my garden is barren now...

Good morning from this side of the planet.
It's 8 AM here. I woke up at 6AM and the first thing I did after freshening up is to spend some good time in my garden. It was a bit chill outside and I had to wear my jacket. But now after all the muscle work that I did, I am feeling warm. You can see the fresh harvest that I got today in the picture . I am enjoying this photo collage app.
I did a lot in garden..Had to take out and throw away the old plants that included the tomatoes, flat beans, brinjalas, green chillies and bitter gourd. They gave good enough produce and were showing signs of ageing and dying. Some pots were empty after the last time harvest. So today I spent clearing up old plants, cutting and pruning in my flowering plants, and getting the pots ready for planting more . So a lot to get my hands dirty. Mixing vermipost, cocopeat and garden soil..putting seeds of bitter gourd, bottlegourd, tomatoes, brinjal, ladies finger , carrot, radish, spinach and red amaranthus. This is the new seed package that I got from Amazon and I hope they come out well. Keeping fingers crossed.
For the time being my garden gives a barren look in its vegetables growing sides. It will be a wait for few weeks for these seeds to show up
I had a big bag of garden waste to throw out.
Now, all warmed up and in sweat,I need a good coffee to enjoy. And then do some exercising.
. The house is quiet and everyone is fast asleep. And it's best to enjoy my coffee and mylot for a while.
I will be putting these harvest on table today.
Have a good time

I swear it's therapeutic. When I am there I feel so relaxed and calm. And I release enough happy hormones for the day
Having a good harvest just makes me smile

Your terrace garden yields better than what I have in my garden. Your green fingers are shining. I am proud of you

Thank you. One skill I have been working hard since my gardener left. This pandemic crisis was good in some way especially in being independent. Now my focus is more on space management and I am watching videos to learn that.

@arunima25 We used to harvest veggies in the garden before, too. Now, we had moved to a new place. I will just enjoy looking at them in this photo.

I would agree to that. We have seasonal vegetables and so we can always be busy with gardening. Bangalore has a pleasant weather throughout. So more or less you can grow everything around the year. In other places you need to go according to season to get a healthy produce.

@Nakitakona That's so nice. To get fresh grown veggies from a garden is a blessing. I bet they taste so much better than the ones from stores.

It is really satisfying to see the fruits of our efforts. Gardening is a very relaxing hobby. I wish to have my garden too. I am now looking for a new boarding house and I hope I can find one with a backyard or a place where I can have a garden.

I would agree to that. Gardening for me is therapeutic. I feel so happy after working in my garden or checking on my plants and chatting with them.
. I don't have a big space. But yes over years, I have learnt more and more about gardening through YouTube videos. And many of them come with less space gardening. These days I am watching more on space management ideas to have more plants.

Thank you. For vegetables it's a bit longer wait to get the harvest. But then a fresh produce always makes us happy.

I have planted some seeds. Few are sprouting. Soon the garden will be green again. It's a bit longer wait for veggies. Right now hibiscus and roses are coming back to bloom. So that's a good sign.

It must be due to the extreme winter. Luckily we don't get extreme temperatures and I have something or other always growing in the garden.
