A strange dream

First off it is strange for me to remember my dreams. It is strange to be emotional in them either, but I was. We (I am not sure who, other than me) were at a venue to hear speakers. A lady finished speaking. A gentleman stepped behind the podium. This room was rather cozy. Wood paneling. Small tables the size of card tables. People wearing masks and socializing a bit much. The man began to speak,yet the audience continued to chat at a low hum. He stopped his presentation more than once. Finally he said that we obviously did not want to hear what he had to say and he would leave. We had one more chance. Sure enough, he began to speak, and people began to animatedly chat with one another. I targeted one particular person, at one particular table and basically told her off. (I never would do that for real). I was in tears. I seriously wanted to hear whatever it was he would say to us. It must have been important. I was embarrassed at the rudeness of others and saddened. Then my 6 a.m. alarm went off. Not an exciting dream, but puzzling to me.
