Do They Really Anticipate Trouble?

I have been thinking about the riots on the Capitol. They must really be expecting trouble. I figured the way they arresting people, and putting them on the no fly list, would have kind of scared them off. I never see so many national guards in one place. I sure hope it won't be any trouble and someone gets killed. There's trouble all over world.

@CarolDM More and more it is appearing as though maybe they WERE prepared, and that this was a well orchestrated, planned event. At least 15 capitol police officers were arrested for essentially opening the doors for these people to come in.

They have to be prepared for anything. Sadly it seems they weren't prepared like they should have been last week. I think there's more of a fear of riots breaking out in every State capitol this weekend.

I don't know that anything really deters determined destructors and there are still so many of them out there. There should have been more security on the 6th - but lesson learned (I hope) - now more than ever it is completely necessary. Sad that is had to come to this, but hopefully it keeps everyone safer.

I saw a photo of razor wire on the fence around the Capitol. That didn’t even happen during the 60s!

Being prepared is good, I just hope to one gets hurt..Them people weren't playing. One guy said they were foaming at the mouth. Lol.

if'n they'd paid mind to the chatter 'nline, there'd not been a capitol riot. these folks don't care 'bout any 'f that, think they're 'bove the law, doin' their 'patriotic duty' 's justification fer their actions. 'tis jest gonna get worse i fear. they'll continue to plot 'n plan, then carry out their evil.
