Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Dinner

Not much of an appetite today. Lots of issues going on.
Decided on a favorite dinner. Biscuits and sausage gravy.
I enjoy breakfast foods for dinner. Any time of the day actually.
Snapped a photo of my plate to share. Very good and was just enough.
Hoping for a quiet evening.

I had sausage gravy & biscuits with friends a few weekends ago. We used carbquik which is the low carb alternative to bisquik and it was delicious.
Sometimes we need a comfort food to help us deal with a stressful day.

We have sausage mixed with salsa&cheddar cheese in our refridg. Kharla needs to bake some biscuits!

I had biscuits and gravy for dinner a few days ago. I am like you said, I can eat breakfast food for dinner anytime. I think the best thing to me is grits, eggs, bacon and toast. I see in the comments that you make your own biscuits, I make mine from scratch to. I think one reason I don't make biscuits and gravy that often,is, I will eat two or three biscuits with the gray and then I will sometimes eat two more with strawberry jelly and butter.

@CarolDM Yea, I grew up eating that to. I know a woman that moved to the US from England and she said when she tried grits that it reminded her of sand. lol

NOW, you are talking! You know, I REALLY love these, and in fact I have some sausage in the freezer. I'd just need to get some biscuits together and make some gravy. Strange thing, not only have I not made these in YEARS, and we're talking at least 15-20 years, I have also not EATEN them in that long.
I need to change that, and I too like breakfast for dinner. So, this may be going on the list sooner rather than later.

@CarolDM Sadly, I was getting stuff in the cart yesterday to make some and the wife asked what it was for. When I told her she said she does not like biscuits and gravy. I have to rethink my entire marriage now. Beyond that, I was like, how is it that I have been with this woman for 16 years and had no idea she didn't like this?

Hope the issues are resolved and you get your peace of mind.
I too like to have few of breakfast dishes for dinner. We often have leftovers from breakfast. As such also dinners are lightest meal for us.
