'What is the greatest invention has been so far?'

I cannot think of anything that can be considered the greatest invention so far. I asked this question to my 19-year-old student. He took his time to think about it. Finally, he said the coronavirus vaccines. I did not say anything because it is always a forbidden matter. After the class, I also think that he has a point. However, we cannot be sure if they are since the virus is mutating. What do you think, guys? Image Credit: rs.n1info.com

I am sure that we need electricity and water supply and cannot live without them.

@LadyDuck I had tried this in the province. My grandparents' had their deep wells. It is hard to have some water at that time.

@Shavkat I remember when I was very young and my grandparents still had no electricity in their house and they had to take up the water from the well... not an easy life.

What is the greatest invention ever??? I would say that there is one thing that I would never want to live without or ever give up and that is an indoor flushing toilet

@Shavkat I do think that they need to be redesigned to make for a quicker and smoother evacuation.

I remembered being in the provinces. I had tried to use latrines and they are not comfortable for me. At some point, indoor toilets are good for us to use.

@kanuck1 I agree with you. Some locals are still using these latrines outdoor.

I would not say the coronavirus vaccine. I think the greatest for me is the technology. Mobile phones and internet. We are not here if this was not invented.

@Shavkat He had a point. I have no idea if I would say that was the best invention, but, if it can save us from the virus then maybe I will say it. We have the Iron Dome here that has been used against missiles that come at our communities in the South.

I did not know about Iron Dome. I think it is being created to be useful in your country. For me, COVID-19 vaccines are a good invention for people to live longer.

@Shavkat Iron Dome was created to save lives too. I would say they are both good.

The Pandora that thought by two German lunatics(Nietzsche and someone),designed by Hitler and Stalin, intensified by nuke bombs. It's the greatest invention of human being. It called"The modern Totalitarianism",its other name is the "Red Nazi" This invention totally enslaved the human being for good,if you were ruled by red nazi, you and your offspring will be the slave and zombie for ever. You have no way to fight against or change it.Because Red nazi control everything, and they had the nuke bombs. They have nothing to fear, they can do everything they want. This invention seriously threatens the freedom and human rights of the human being.Meantime, because of the greed and weakness of human nature,it has been growing stronger and stronger. Now it has invaded the western countries.Every western country has given in to the Red nazi system except the USA of Trump. For the Satan's apple, the freedom countries now are gradually being the slaves and lapdogs of the Red Nazi.If human being doesn't stop and quarantine this evil invention, the doomsday of human being will come soon. Most of people will become the slaves, cattles and zombies. They will never get their freedom and human rights back. Because like i said, the red nazi has the nuke bombs, they're beyond the God.Under their rule,no one can defeat them.Unless this evil system was ended by itself like the Soviet of Gorbachev. But Gorbachev is too hard to wait, most of the ruler in the red nazi, they're the second Hitler or Stalin. Some of them are even more evil than Hitler and Stalin.

Maybe the wheel or a pump. Inventions such as these have changed the lives of countless people.

It is a good invention. If not being invented, I am sure we are still using the bark of the guava tree to clean our teeth with salt, which I heard from granny before.
