Life begins after coffee

I don't know if it's true for everyone but it is true about me. For those dedicated coffee or tea drinkers I think that you can't really get started until you have your morning coffee or tea or what ever your beverage of choice is. This morning I am standing /sitting in the living room watching part of a wall while the hubby is out in the garage trying to straighten it all out to be even. Apparently there used to be a door in that spot of the wall and when whoever put it there didn't use materials to make it a forever wallover. The hubby opened up the wall from inside the garage and found what he called a mess. Apparently the person who did this took the easy way and just hob-cobbled the thing. Hubby tried to fix it but I think it is a lost cause. Now he is figuring out what he will need to fix the mess so he can once more how a nice even wall. Will putting in a wood floor he discovered that the one area there was slightly sunken in and he was determined to find out why. I will let you know how it all turns out.

We have not had our coffee yet - but Hubby is sleeping in this morning - we'll have late coffee. I had my water with a zip of apple cider vinegar, so I'm good for now. Oh gosh, there's always some house project that's just a pain. I hope your hubby can work it all out!

It was quite a bit of work for the hubby. She has repair the wall and is now sanding it so it can be painted.

Sometimes, when we start these things, we just open up a whole can of worms.

Isn't that the truth. The more you do the more you find needs to be done.

Hopefully you get your wall situation worked out. In the meantime, enjoy that coffee. I agree it IS the thing that gets my day going.

It does seem to add some pep in your step. After we found out it wasn't cause by the foundation he figured out he had to take down that area and rebuild it.
