Out and about on a Saturday

I’m out and about with Kasey this morning. We went to Lowe’s first to look for a shower enclosure for Kasey then we looker at flooring for the cottage. We also looked at appliances.
I bought two winter hats for the grandsons for next Christmas. The sign said $19.97 but at the register they were $4.65 I went back and bought 3 more. Great bargains.
Then Kasey went to the Oreck store for vacuum bags and now she is in Best Buy. I stayed in the car. We are going back to her house so she can show me the latest work that has been done.
Then I am ordering lunch and bringing it home to Al. It’s good to be out in the fresh air even with a mask

@BelleStarr We have to bundle up well. Thank goodness for long underwear! BJs is large enough to walk for miles! lol

Those are really cool looking hates, your grandsons will get alot of use out of them.
Our son has a special pink reflective flashlight which clips to his dog's collar as the bedroom community that they live in has no street lights and he always worried that they may not get back home in time before it gets dark and he doesn't want her to get hit by a car.

@Juliaacv she has good days and some bad ones too but she has had to learn a lot in the last year and a half. John would be proud of how well she has done.!

@BelleStarr Those would be SUPER handy in the console of any vehicle too.
I have to tell you, I am so amazed and admired how well Kasey is doing. You really raised a strong lady, a chip off of the old block, I am sure.

It's nice to get an early jump on the 2021 Christmas shopping season. I'm doing the same thing as I come across things I know my kids or girlfriend would love. The only problem is that I hope I can keep them hidden all year long without anyone discovering the presents!

@BelleStarr I'm not worried about the kids, I could hide things right in front of them and they wouldn't know it, but my girlfriend is a lot harder to hide things from. I'm going to have to get creative.

Sounds like you all enjoyed your outing. I'm looking forward to church in the morning. It's 5th Sunday, so we're having a singing service, no preaching. I'm on the schedule to sing which I'm really looking forward to.
