I did not know what he had planned

On my way home I thought about what we would have tonight to eat. I was glad we had enough of the loaded potato soup for us for tonight.
When I got home, my husband had outside work for us to do. We are trying to get our riding lawnmower into our trailer, it does not work. He will take it to our auto mechanic to be repaired. He does not want to pay for it to be towed.
It is heavy. The weather is cold and windy. We did not succeed.
I was very glad to have potato soup, and a sandwich, and we are having hot herbal tea.
I hope I do not get sore.

Well, I hope you can get that lawnmower to the repair shop somehow.

We will figure it out. A friend says he has a "come along" whatever that is. Bob says that should do the trick.

@GardenGerty Two years ago mine stopped working, it was the "push button" to start it. I could change it and it costed me $2 because I could order the new push button from China.

Do you have a ramp to help load it? They can be very heavy to lift.

No, we do not have a ramp. I told him who he should call to ask about a ramp, but he did not get it done.

@wolfgirl569 Only if it would roll. I know where to borrow a "come along".

I wish you the best of luck with that. I can't blame you for not wanting to get sore. Hope you can get the mower fixed, too.

Surprisingly, I am not sore, but hubby is. I am physically pretty active most days, he is not. That makes a big difference.

Oh, I hope not, too, but you’ll probably be sore. The body usually doesn’t like hard work, or cold weather, or the two together. I hope you can get the lawnmower to the shop and get it fixed!
Potato soup sounds delicious!!!!! I’m sure that hit the spot after being outside!

No, no one to help. I have a friend who may loan us a "come along" to pull it with though.
