Pizza tonight, beans tomorrow

On Sunday it is not unusual for us to go pick up a pizza at Little Caesar's in the town where we go to church. It makes two meals for us and is a treat. Pizza goes perfectly with the Superbowl that is on. Hubby is watching.
I have pinto beans cooking to eat tomorrow. They are nearly done. Of course there will be ham in the beans.I will likely prep the cornbread tonight as well. I am all in to easy meals.
It is very cold here. Nice warm food is key.

I have 7 layer dip and wings for our dinner tonight, although I did consider pizza.
Your mention of cornbread reminded me that I need to put together another batch of cornbread mix soon. It's nice to keep on hand.

That would be intersting. How do you make cornbread mix?

@GardenGerty Essentially you mix the dry ingredients together and store them in a jar, then measure out what you need and add your wet ingredients when you want to make cornbread. This is a good version:

I like way too many things. As of this moment of Monday evening, I am now craving chili.

Pizza yum Heather. Beans are good too.
Hope you have a nice rest of the Sunday. Hope your husband enjoys the Superbowl.

He did enjoy it. In the middle of Kansas, he rooted for the Bucs because he likes Brady.

That all sounds good. We are snowed in today we got an additional 8-22 inches.

I prepared candied kielbasa. Simply throw coin-size pieces of kielbasa in your Crock-Pot, mix in grape jelly and BBQ sauce. Cook on HIGH 3 hours. Stress-free!

I used to do that with Little Smokies. Never thought to cut my kielbasa and do it.

I love beans. I make good cornbread. We hit the pizza place when it was not busy. I am sure it was busy later.

Pizza appears to be a popular sports food.

He did like being able to watch it in his own favorite chair in his own home.

We have had a sprinkling of snow about 2 inches. Hot warming foods are the order of the day!

I think we are up to about three now, plus freezing rain mixed in.

I like both of your choices. I made some pork tenderloin, broccoli and a baked potato for supper. We got a little over an inch of snow with a heavy amount of sleet and freezing rain on top of it so no church for us today. Enjoy your meals.

Well, we continued to get drizzle and freeze, so no school today. Your pork tenderloin meal sounds great.
