Our boy is officially an Eagle Scout!

Our 17 year old grandson Nathan had the last meeting Tuesday night to finalize all the requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout. The officials were very impressed with all his efforts.
Due to Covid, we weren't allowed to be there, but we're hoping to be whenever they have the presentation ceremony.
His dad, my husband, and I took him to lunch yesterday for a small celebration. I thought he'd want sushi or Mexican, but he chose his favorite burger place, Bad Daddy's Burger Bar.
We're very proud of our boy. Nathan's the one we helped raise for seven years after his mom died when he was a baby. So he feels more like our son than grandson at times.

Yes, he dad remarried when Nathan was 9. That didn't last, so they've been just the two of them since. His dad has always been a really good dad.
