A Witty Start to the Day

Sometimes I can be witty, or so I like to believe so. But not especially in my early morning haze, and particularly less so before I have even had my first cup of coffee.
But this morning the wife asked me if I had put on the coffee pot.
I immediately responded, "Yeah. I told it it was a teapot."
She was not as "awake," I guess, because she did not immediately get the joke. When she finally did, she called me an idiot.

And what a nice photo or Mr. and Mrs. Tazmanian Devil! (I remember that cartoon...I remember most Looney Toons cartoons better than I remember what I had for dinner last night )

@porwest — I agree. Hanna-Barbera cartoons were good, but they couldn’t hold a candle to Bugs and company.

Well, good for you-- prepped up the coffee/tea pot for the wifey. :-)

@porwest It brews nicely. Makes 3 double shot cups. Got it 12 years ago for my bday. I bought one 8-cup stainless steel Italian espresso from an opshop for $ 0.95 cents. Bec I was short 5 cents. Haha!
