So a few months ago I mentioned I wanted to go skydiving with my best friend, March 1st, my 40th birthday.
Uh, no. My dog Sadie, who I adopted about 14 months ago needs exploratory surgery. I adopted her from the co-worker of that same best friend. The co-worker adopted her from a rescue. Or did she? Long story short: after many visits to two different vets, they don't think she's fixed (I did a post about this, saying they thought she might have an ovary remnant). My friend is mad at the co-worker because she thinks she lied, all the way down to how long they had her. Sadie actually had a urinary tract infection when I got her. I've spent a lot of money on Sadie, although she's worth it.
But that's life. Maybe I'll get to go on my next birthday.

But you know, Sadie is with you, someone who really cares for her now. She is safer with you.

I hope Sadie will be fine. I have 2 Chihuahuas and they are like kids to me. They are part of the family.

I'm sorry that Sadie is ill and that you won't be going skydiving. We had to postpone our 50th anniversary trip due to COVID; so things happen.
