My Pastor Posted a YouTube Video

This morning my pastor posted a YouTube Video.
No, it was not in a great religious tradition.
No, it was not a hymn of the faith.
It was for me, though she did not say so. It was "Mother" by Sugarland.
I have, of course, shared my sorrows with my pastor. She is a woman, and a mother, with children similar in age to my own.
With a son she had to put out of her home due to drugs.
She and her husband used their life savings trying to help him. Now he has moved far away. He has served his time.
I hope you have a clergy person who knows about the walk you are walking, and cares about your burdens. Someone who points you to God, when you forget to look.

When I got to church, I told her she had me in tears. Rough thing is I had to lead singing this morning.

I am happy that you have a pastor you can share your walk.
I am playing the music on the background. She's your mother, your lover. That made me miss my mother.

Yes, When we were looking for a church home we found this one by accident, but it was so that I would have the support when I needed.
