Clean Friday.

Friday afternoon is my schedule that I will clean the kids room. I normally sweep and mop them at other times. But on Friday, I change bedsheet, linens and pillow cases, vacuum, sweep and mop. And I have to do in it an hour. One hour two kids rooms. I feel like those who clean hotel room that they have time limit when they clean a room.
It is done now, I do this on Friday so I can just relax and enjoy my Saturday and Sunday.
Do you have a specific schedule to clean or do some chores?14 people like this

I think Friday is a good day to do this cleaning. I have so many bed linens on my bed that I wash them in stages. I toss and turn too much to have the bed sheets that cling to the mattress so I used a quilt. I have so many though that I just exchange one for the other to keep the bed clean.
I try to do laundry on Sunday.

@rakski I collect it now. Some of them are quilts that belonged to other family members, and others are gifted to me.

@rakski But... you can stay awake late any night of the week. You might be really tired at work the next day but your bed will be nice...

@DaddyEvil I try to sleep early during school days as I have to wake up 4:30am to prepare food for hubby (lunch and snacks). Every Saturday I wake up at 7am

@Laurakemunto yes, if rest day means you are going to the groceries and do other errands as long as I can sleep more is a good rest day for me

I always change bedsheets once a week but as I have paying guests, the day can change. So if they arrive on a Monday I will change their sheets the following Monday. As I rent out three rooms I can end up doing sheets on three different days.

I don't have a specific schedule but I also try to get all that done during the week so the weekends are free of chores.
Getting your kids rooms done in an hour sounds like good exercise
