Can this be LOVE...

...I am feeling today? It sounds that I am madly in love, right? I must admit that I am head over heels in love with myself today. Whenever I look in the mirror, I always mesmerized myself by adoring the beautiful person in this world and that is me. Thus, I always love myself to the moon and back every day. Is there something wrong with loving oneself? Do you sometimes look at the mirror and talk to yourself? Image Credit: nutroo.me

Is there something wrong with loving oneself? It depends, if your love does not turn into narcissism there is nothing wrong. I love myself but I also hate myself some days.

Too much loving oneself is not a healthy one. I cannot imagine myself being one. I knew somebody like this and I find it over the board.

@Shavkat We had a great example of someone who only loved himself... the ex guy leading the USA.

There is no problem if you are not obsessed with yourself. I want to punch my face when I'm looking mirror.

No. That is pre-requisite of loving another person. People with low self esteem or over self esteem cannot fall in love with another person. Even if they do, it is the obsessive compulsive disorder type of love. But the best love advice some kid gave me the other day - if you love someone, you will fart. That is how you know you are in love. So did you fart.

@Shavkat But the kid said it...I am kinda inclined to believe it, because I have never farted with anybody..LOL

I am not sure if I will fart of being in love with someone. All I know is that I am anxious when talking to someone special. Stammering can be a sign.

Nothing wrong with loving yourself. You need to be full before you can give. But you do not need to look in the mirror each time to love yourself. By giving your body the rest and love is good too. Too much infront of the mirror make someone vain,?!?

Oh, my. I am not a narcissistic person. I am not just looking myself at in the mirror but also talking to myself. I was so in vain before but not now.

@rakski I am not that in vain physically. It is pickier to wear certain outfits and to eat certain foods before. I guess I am lucky that my hair is fine and long at present.

I agree. Since I am not married yet, I should love myself truly. Even if I am, I still need to love myself without any second thought.

@Shavkat He who does not love himself does not love others I love myself and have a high opinion of myself, sometimes I criticize myself, I rarely talk to me in the mirror, maybe sometimes I throw something that, like wooow

According to the experts, if a person can love oneself, he or she is capable of loving someone without any boundaries. Speaking in front of a mirror, I sometimes tease myself.

Self love is a prerequisite of loving others. There isn't anything wrong with loving yourself... as long as you keep your hands above the covers at night.

By Rufo @Shavkat I think it is great that you love yourself and feel good about yourself. When I look in the mirror it is to see if I look fat in something or not. Where I like to get my clothes I am friends with the person and his mirror makes me look good in the clothes I buy there because I lost so much weight that my mirror does not do what his does so sad when I look in mine.
