In Loving Memory

of my mother who is in heaven for more than 10 years now, I spend my time remembering her when we were still together in this life.
It is my late mother's birthday today. She would be 88 now if she were still with me. I am recollecting this moment on how she loved me as a child, took care of me as a sickly child and brought me to the right path of life.
Today, I am burning a candle for her in memory of her love and I hope she is watching over me wherever I am and whatever I am doing in life.

Like you I often reflect on the wonderful things my Mom did for me and my family to make growing up so special. Even when I became an adult She never stopped thinking of me, helping me, and providing guidance for me. I remember my Mom often and especially on her birthday which we share. Birthdays for me have never been the same without her. It was so special to share that day with my Mom.

That is nice of you to have lots of good memories with your mom. I can relate to that. I still remember that my mother prepared delicious food every time I had my birthday, even if I was already living in Germany. She went also to church and light a candle for me. Thank you @dgobucks226 for sharing your thoughts.
