Round 2 of Moderna COVID vaccine received

Has anyone else done round 2 of Moderna, Pfizer, or other type of COVID vaccine? I got my second round of Moderna on Tuesday. It’s Thursday and I’m still not feeling 100%. Had no symptoms on Tuesday, but on Wednesday-major body aches all over, head ache, could not sleep for anything. Seemed like I was up all night tossing and turning. Slight nausea. And definite arm pain. Someone did tell me after the first round that I should be moving my arm around a lot after getting it so it doesn’t stiffen up. I did and that helped. Today I had some trouble sleeping and headache, but otherwise doing alright. I have been hearing a lot of different stories from different people and their reactions to round 2. Some have had none at all! Whereas some have been out of commission for 2 days! Have you gotten your round 2? If so? What was your experience like? This is not an arena for a vaccine vs anti-vaccine debate by the way. If you feel strongly against it, that’s your choice (but you can feel free to move along past this discussion)

Excellent news! Was that Moderna? I felt a little nauseas after the first dose of Moderna, but that could be psychosomatic. And thank you! It is a few days later and I am feeling good - except my arm has a big red blotch in the area that I got the shot at, which I find strange.

I am totally in favor of vaccines. I haven't received the vaccine as I am not in the group risk. I am glad you received your vaccine.

Me too. I hope you can soon! It seems like here they are starting to gain momentum in getting people vaccinated. But still, most people have not. I was lucky enough for my employer to have offered it.

My dad gets his second dose March 11th. However, his first dose of the vaccine did not go well. He was miserable for five days.

I'm not interested in these vaccines, I'll just ride it out and see what happens.

It does seem that the vaccines are having different effects on different people. I hope you feel totally well soon.

I'll be waiting a while yet before getting the first jab. I'm not in any high risk categories so think it'll be summer before I get the first one.

I just had round 1 of Moderna and already, I'm feeling a few flu-like symptoms. My arm is quite sore. Round 2? I'll let you know:)

@maezee I am sorry how you felt after your 2nd one. I am getting mine next week. I had Pfizer for the 1st. I understand what you are asking. Did they say what symptoms you may have after the shot?
