Butterfly Bush is Sprouting

Took a walk around in the yard earlier to look for any signs of spring. And I found one of my butterfly bushes just starting to sprout green leaves. Yes! Snapped a few photos. Every day should bring a new surprise. Still enjoying the little things in life. Have a good day everyone. Spring will be here soon.

I think they look like a miniature lilac bush. The flower heads are the same shape just much smaller at least until the plant is older.

That's awesome. I have a tulip coming up. I would be shocked if my butterfly bush sprouts. Pretty sure I killed it last year with Miracle grow.

Promises promises . Spring will be many places soon but not here hopefully. But the warmer days we'll be getting are enough to make me happy. I used to have a butterfly bush. I don't remember what ever happened to it, hmm. Maybe that will be another one I can buy this year again. They are so pretty. I never saw butterflies around it but maybe it needed to be bigger first.

Nothing tropical. Lilacs, roses, tulips, honeysuckle, crepe myrtle.
