March 6 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good laid-back day.
I got the notifications finished twice and I'm on the third round of notifications. I got work done on Vendetta then felt the overpowering urge to get out of the apartment. I decided to go shopping. I didn't need anything. It was more for exercise than shopping. Of course, I spent money.
After buying new lightbulbs for my wax warmer, it decided not to work. I bought a new wax warmer and several wax scents. I also bought a new pair of mittens. Yes, I know spring is a couple of weeks away. It doesn't mean winter is over. I'm hopeful. The other mittens I bought are falling apart. They're very loose-knit and catch on everything. These ones aren't knit. They should last a long time. I also bought hand soap as I'm almost out, and a coloring book for my son. It's Star Wars, so yes, he'll like it. Some kids never grow up. If he doesn't want it, I'll keep it. I like Star Wars too. This one is the Mandalorian.
I also had the urge to get fast food on the way home. I stopped at Burger King, got the impossible burger and fries. I threw away the bread when I got home so I wouldn't cheat on my diet. I have to say, I'm impressed. I really didn't think it would be good or taste like meat, but it does.
I'm finished watching my shows, so I'm back on the computer, ready to see what you're doing. From what I'm seeing, it must be a very nice day because it's been light around the site today. I don't have many notifications, so it won't take long to get them taken care of.
That was my day. The weather is nice. In the high 30s and warmer tomorrow. We're getting into the 50s in the next few days. How was your day? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

Sounds like a very productive day. The weather was a bit on the cooler side ('60's) but quite plesent despite the cloud cover.
What I'm thankful for today. We got rain, which I slept through for the most part. Chilly only hid a short time but cuddled up to me during the storm. I'm thankful he's getting more comfortable during storms, especially ones like today that hit the windows.
Not much else happened today, but I am thankful for the day itself. Though I can't help but wonder what captured Chilly's attention.

@just4him Me too. It shows that he's come a long way and is less afraid of the sound of water. Thunder on the other hand. That is harder to overcome.

Thank you. It was a nice shopping day. I didn't mind waiting in line at the checkout either. Though my blood boiled a little when I thought someone cut in front of me. Turned out she was with the other two in front of me.
We're in the 50s today. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 60. Crazy weather. Enjoy the warmth.

I'll sometimes get myself a bunless burger when I'm out. I wish they had salads though, most of our fast food places stopped carrying them! They say it's COVID related somehow, but that doesn't make sense to me.

@just4him I've heard that the local Jack In The Box may have salads still, but I haven't investigated yet.

Sounds like a very productive day there with everything you did! Sounds like good shopping to. Weather has been very nice here except for today - would have been though if the wind wasn't so strong.

This is the smart time to buy mittens. At the end of the season, they're usually cheaper. Plus, if you wait until November when you need them, you might not be able to find them because everyone else wants them.
As usual, my list of things I'm thankful for is endless but one thing stands out today. Like you had to recently, I had to get a new phone and it arrived today and it's all set up now. I'm thankful for that. What I'm not thankful for is how everything is annoyingly different now on the new phone but since you never ask, "What are you not thankful for?" I won't even mention it.

After playing continual catch-up for like the past 6 months, for the first time today I finally got through all my notifications. It felt good to be caught up. But I know it will be short lived as myLotters respond over the next day or so.
I haven't tried the Impossible Whopper yet at BK, but I've heard other people say that it tastes just like the real thing.

I am just now on but don't know how long as my back is crying for me to take a long warm shower and stretch it out after lugging four garbage size cans (it has wheels) of laundry water after emptying the one some else left before I could use it and wash three loads today But today has been good and thannking Godas the song I am listening to o KLove You take good care of me.
