Notice, I said do you have, not that you take? i have at least 25 and probably more. There are only a few that I take everyday though. The others I guess I have around if I feel the need. Actually, I noticed when I was cleaning my bathroom pantry that I had echicaneca or however you spell it, which is good for infections..I started using that along with vitamin C for my gums, and in just a couple of days I notice a difference. I think that is here to stay..

I take vitamins C and D daily. I know there are several more in our medicine cabinet but those are Pretty's, not mine. I leave her stuff alone.

@DaddyEvil Yes, you might get a sudden desire to wear pink, or take a bubblebath...

@snowy22315 Yes I do. I took D for awhile and then was told D3 absorbs better in your system, has made a huge difference in my Vit D levels.

I don't take any and have none with me. I try to take a balanced diet with adequate amounts of different fruits and vegetables everyday.

That is the best, but some supplements are quite beneficial.

With your age and weight it seems you would need calcium or a bone supplement of some sort so you don't develop osteoporosis.Have you had a bone density scan?

@LadyDuck They often recommend something here called os cal hich is a calcium supplement to help bones. I eat quite a bit of yogurt and cheese myself..however eating bones is not something I would do. They don't even recommend them for pets so not really sure how they could be good for people Although I know they are eaten in some parts of the world.

@snowy22315 Yes I had a bone density scan and I do not need more calcium. Too much calcium could lead to stomach pain and diarrhoea. I eat sardines with their bones, the best source of calcium, but I also have yogurt every morning, cheese and I use fortified flour.

Some people really need D suuplements especially if they live in a Northern climate and Calcioum is good to keep teeth and bones strong. Not everyone drinks milk.

As long as you eat a good diet you probably don't really need them.
