For you, what is the greatest invention?

Someone asked me about what do i think to be the greatest invention. Weighing things, what do I feel, yes feel to be the greatest invention and telephone came to my mind, why? COMMUNICATION. The pandemic makes me realize the importance of the telephone. My siblings are far from me, I live alone. Some of my siblings are living in the other provinces, while the others are working/living overseas, and the telephone works the best at this times. They cannot come over, or me travelling, yet... but i am really hoping soon though. Constant telephone calls keep me sane, that I can tell them that I am doing well, that I know too that they are healthy. Alexander Graham Bell, thank you.

I guess it all depends on what our priority is. And for you it’s communication and yes i have to agree that it is indeed. For me it’s the internet.

@Lucky15 The internet has given so many income making opportunities for people even during the pandemic. Selling online became a norm. And i think people would have gone crazy during the lockdown if there was no internet.

When the telephone haven't reached my country, I use cans and ropes to communicate with each other.

hard to say, but I seem more important things than communication, running water in the houses, electricity, what I would do with a phone and no electricity? NOTHING!

To me, the greatest invention is language. Even though I can't speak another person's native language, I can usually figure out a way to communicate with them, whether that be through a translator or by written word, language is key to our happiness.

For me, it would actually be Lava soap. You need it anytime your hands are coated with gunk or grime, and handyman soap or degreasers are pretty expensive.
