Friday date night
Delicious martini and appetizers by hubs ~ onion rings, shrimp, and Brie with crackers. Gotta love him. He tried!
Lobster ravioli coming up with a salad.
I’m feeling great today. We had a long hike in the woods (before the snakes appear), brunch at the waterfall in the woods, and a drive through the countryside and then all the way to the beach in the convertible. I will never get rid of that car! In between, I caught up on some of my notifications, but couldn’t resist this beautiful and mild sunny day.
We took a walk around the lane, and I snapped these trees of an acquaintance. They are covered in ivy and when the leaves open, the trees are exquisite to look at.
Back to Friday date night! I wish I could show you my new dress!

Oh yah, I looked at the close up . . . the ivy is beautiful! Oh my about the owner's wife . . . the stories will make for interesting future posts . Wow, it seems like everyone in CT goes to Florida for the winter

Ah, sounds like a dress fit for warmer days. I have more of the summery type dresses - not suitable even for a CA kind of winter.

Hubsetizers? 
You didn’t look at that amazing ivy? We know the owners. I walked with the husband on Sundays, but boy do I have stories about the wife! They are both in Florida for the winter.
I may or may not show off my new dress, but it’s too chilly to wear now. I really bought it for Florida some day.

On my small street alone, which is more like a circle with an island of homes in the middle, 3 go to FL in the winter, (not counting us) one to Hawaii, and one to New York. 
I love summer clothes the most! Can’t wait to wear them again. I’m sure you will be wearing yours before I wear mine.

Thanks and hugs.
I look hideous with my long hair is one reason why I didn’t post a photo. Another reason is that I will be wearing that dress a lot this summer and in Florida. I’m sure it will be in one of my photos once I get to the hairdresser.

I see how the road meets the lawn there. I didn't realize you were close to a beach and did you not much like the appetizers made by your husband?

I'm getting a celebratory margarita to go after I finish getting my covid vaccine... in line for that right now!
