The appointments have been made

I called our vet and made the appointments to have our new cats spayed and neutered. They will also get rabies shots.
They were going to worm them, but I told them I have been giving them diatomaceous earth and they said that I would not have to have them worm them because of that.
I will not tell you how expensive it will be, but I will have to myLot a lot to pay for it.
It is worth it to me for their health and not to bring more unwanted kittens into the world.
In April Mickey and Tinker are due new rabies shots.

My family growing up had way too many kittens. Spay and Neuter has been my policy since I have been an adult.

@GardenGerty I am furious with the neighbors who moved last August. They did not spay and neuter their two cats, they had kittens three times while they lived here. Most of the kittens have been killed on the road because they did not pay attention where they go. Then there is Gevy that they left behind. They should not be allowed to keep pets.

Raising unwanted kittens is not cheap either. I look at it as I am taking care of a problem in advance.

You know a thing or two on how to worm pets, otherwise you had to pay for it this time.

I have learned a few things over the years. This treatment is even used in cattle. It is more gentle than some other methods.

@GardenGerty If I still have my cat Shadow, he will have this procedure. The sad thing is I lost him last year.

Vets can be quite pricy, but getting them fixed is very important.

In our other town we often made payments, and I guess we could here, but we get a discount for pay in advance.

We have a place close that will do the males for I think 25 and the females for a little more. I have taken a few there and they did good. It does get very expensive through the vet.

I contacted a place that sometimes has vouchers to defer the expense, but they were out. It is funded by a private donor.

Yes it is. I do not need litters of kittens to care for and find homes for.
