I just love those movies based on history facts with beautiful dresses, castles and interesting lives. Such is the case of a British movie, The Duchess, about the life of Duchess Georgina of Cavendish. Check ot, it is worth watching it. Now I´ll mylot a bit and then I´ll read. Days are shorter now. See you at my notifications.

I wonder if the actors like playing 'dress ups' in those sumptuous gowns.

I would! I always liked to dress up when I was a child.

@JudyEv I wonder where my blue velvet dress went. It was an old dress that a British lady that belonged to the nobility gave to my mom. She had no use for it but to let us dress up for playing.

I've seen it a couple of times, since i love movies of that period too. ~ it is quite nice and also sad. I think the current queen of England is her direct descendant, or was it another famous person~

I watched that movie a few years ago but it was too long and dreary in the end.

Things like Star Trek, any of the ones they've made, or Star Gate Sg1/atlantis or the Librarians. Fantasy and Science fiction are my favorites but I will watch some shows like Blue Bloods or CSI (only the original show) and I love to rewatch shows like Bewitched and Sabrina the teen age witch, they are fun to watch sometimes.

I think I watched it before. Not the whole movie though. I got annoyed with the storyline that I stopped watching. Her husband annoyed me. Even her best friend was not her friend. Poor woman.

I like fantasy movies a lot. For me to like history movies, it is necessary to have a little fantasy element in the movie.
