Change of plans

We decided to go to Nebraska tonight and get a motel room. Daughter and family are already there. They drove down from Minnesota.
It is what hubby had wanted in the first place, but we were told by my daughter, that the rooms were pretty well booked.
Looks like they are not badly booked on the weekend, but rather during the week, by construction workers. So . . .
We called and got a room. Hubby says this way he is already awake. We are almost packed. Have to change the litter tray and put out extra food and water for the kitties.
I will not likely be here Saturday. But it will be good, anyway.

My son-in-law grew up in Nebraska City. They did not get to celebrate the holidays with his family this year because his mom was in a rehab nursing home recovering from a hip surgery. So Jason, Samantha, and the kids booked a motel and are having family time with his family. It has been a year since I saw the growing up grands, so we spent today with them.
