what am I going to feed these people (aka, what to make for dinner)?

I'm burned out on coming up with dinner ideas, especially since I am limited on proteins right now due to the fridge needing to be replaced and most of the kids are uber PICKY. I have a pound of browned ground beef in the freezer, but that's not quite enough. I could possibly put it in some pasta sauce, but that's not my first choice. We've already done breakfast for dinner this week. We've already done takeout once. Most of them will eat potato soup, but I'm not sure that I have all the ingredients for that (and the one who won't, REALLY won't... he'll make himself gag and throw up at the table in order to avoid it). We've also recently had soup & sandwiches for dinner, so I don't necessarily want to do it again. I've got smoked sausage in the freezer, but we've already done that too (yesterday, in fact). I suppose I could Instacart some chicken from the grocery store, but I'm not keen on that idea either. I wish these folks were less picky, and I've done everything I can to fight that, but that battle was lost before they moved here. Any creative ideas?

Me too after many years of it. I hate cooking anymore. I have no idea since they are so picky. Give them some toast with butter lol.

You can try spicy beef curry. I don't know more about it I don't eat beef.

Only 1 of them likes spicy things, so that's out. There isn't enough beef to make dinner for everyone anyway.

@spiderdust If everyone's taste is different, then it will become more difficult.

Wish i could help. I just had meatball subs for a late lunch early dinner, then some Gingerbread with cool whip an hour later

That is a tough spot to be in with picky eaters. When I was growing up it was eat what you are served or wait until the next meal. I hope you can find something that everyone will eat and enjoy. We had leftover curry chicken, which I made for the first time earlier in the week. We both like it.

I'm not creative. I'd do pasta with meat sauce.

How about some salads? Potato salad, taco salad, pasta salad, macaroni salad, etc.?

You might have to just tell them, you either eat what I serve you or you go hungry. If they get hungry enough, even the most picky of eaters will eat. What choice do you really have?

Casseroles are good. And so many to choose from.
