New member of the family

My plant family that is.
I woke up early this morning to water my plants and repot this beautiful adenium that my sister-in-law shove into my hand yesterday. It was in a seedling bag and I just have to repot it and just look at how beautiful she is.
I took another plant from her garden, a pink syngonium and I’ll be taking more next week. I won’t be buying plants anymore.
Still waiting for the plants i ordered online as it was supposed to be delivered today. This is a great Monday for me.

My syngonium don’t mind the tap water. They’re not picky. It’s my calatheas that are divas. I have to use rain water only or purified water or they’ll get brown tips on their leaves.

@LadyDuck Yes i do the same but summer season is here and it hasn’t been reading for so long. No more rain water.

@toniganzon That is the problem with some plants, the chemicals in tap water cause brown spots on the leaves. I collect rain water in the garden to use with the plants.

It is. The caudex is beautiful. This plant likes hot climate. It enjoys an afternoon sunbathing.

@toniganzon Can it stand low temperatures at all? Here in Florida where I live, it is a hot climate about 9-10 months out of the year, but occasionally it does get cold. Would the plant survive a little cold weather, or would I have to bring it inside during the winter?

Wow she is indeed a very beautiful member of your plant family. I used to have those in my garden. They give out beautiful dark pink flowers.

Yes, but this one doesn’t have a pink flower but this one will give off a white one.
