An angel visited me today.

I got to teach my new angel today. I have discussed her before. She is a Sophomore in High School. She is blind and "developmentally challenged" (she loves Paw Partol) and GETS music. I taught her the chords to "I Don't Know my Name" (her favorite song) today. She got them. Her Grandma sat with us. Grandma thanked me for my patience and love. Patience? I don't know if she (Grandma) understood how much joy her angel was bringing to me. Angel and I did a call and response, where she would sing the "chorus" and then I would do the same. She was ecstatic. I was ecstatic. Music is a language that transcends politics, "developmental level," socioeconimic status, and every other "demographic variable" you can think of. I am blessed.

What is 'call and response?' Is the response a reprise? Or probably not.
Your singing tutelage with the young sophie is indeed an angelic moment.

It is not like everyday that you get to find someone as interesting as that person my friend. Maybe God indeed sent one of his angels to keep you from feeling bad or maybe to lift your mood and make you smile whenever possible. I also wish that one of these days i will be able to find someone just like that too
