Busy Thursday! Grocery Shopping

We were grocery shopping again today and bought plants besides food. I have noticed today that Easter holiday is coming soon and so I bought a huge chocolate Easter egg for my son.
Many houses we passed by have decorated their plants outside with colourful Easter eggs. I have to decorate my home too with those beautiful colourful plastic eggs. These Easter eggs decorations are more than 3 decades. Just to have an Easter feeling at home.
I was tired after grocery shopping that I didn’t want to cook. Thankfully I still had fried potatoes leftover for hubby. I just made veggie and fruit salad with yogurt as my dinner. It was filling.

We bought our Easter ham early and are eating ham and cheese sandwiches from it. We don't decorate for Easter. Your home will look so fun after decorating.

Before Coronavirus me and my Mum used to go shopping to the big Tesco on a Thursday afternoon. Now my Mum goes on her own. She is finding that the bags feel heavier and heavier every time she goes. Yesterday when my step-dad brought her back from the big Tesco she was too tired to cook too so she did her and my step-dad a mini pizza each which take about 3 minutes in the microwave! I cooked myself a stir-fry so I was OK.

Grocery shopping nowadays is tiresome @sharonelton. I have to make my shopping fast as I have difficulty in breathing wearing a mask. When I arrived home I have to sanitize what I bought. So, no more fun of cooking. Thank you. Have a nice Friday,

@thelme55 I'm sorry that shopping has become a burden. I know what you mean about the masks, when I used to go shopping with my Mum after the first lockdown I found it hard to breath wearing the mask too. I was so glad when I got home and could take it off. We don't sanitize what we buy when we get home.

I used to look forward as a kid when my Mom got me a chocolate egg. And Easter egg hunts with my siblings was a fun memory too.
Bet your son will be thrilled when he sees that chocolate egg!

I see the citrus in your salad you had veggies in there with that? It just mainly lettuce? Any dressing? I've never made a salad with citrus fruits sounds interesting and refreshing.

Yes, I have tangerine fruits, strawberries, rocket veggies, feta cheese, olives and Peperoni in yoghurt salad dressing. I usually add fruits that I have in my salad if I have any. Sometimes, I add mango slices. Thank you @MarshaMusselman
