An unusual day's activity

I did something I've never done before. My husband had a deer stand/condo in the back field that he wanted to move to the front field. It was the latest one he had built. So he drove the tractor and I followed driving the pick up truck with a trailer hooked up. Using the tractor with the bucket and straps, he slowly tipped the stand until it fell onto the trailer. It took several tries to get it right, but when it was lying on the trailer, I had to drive the truck back up the lane with the condo perched sideways on the trailer. My husband followed in the tractor. Do you have any idea how nerve wracking that was? I had visions of the thing falling off, the truck getting stuck in the mud, any number of mishaps. But I drove VERY slowly and reached the front field with no problems. He's been working on it to get it exactly in place, add the steps, etc. So, I can add that achievement to my life resume. Sure hope he doesn't want to move any of the other deer stands.

Thank you! That's our Gracie. My husband had no clue why I was nervous pulling that deer stand.

I didn't feel very brave! I just imagined all sorts of issues that wouldn't have been fun.

@1creekgirl But you got it done despite that, I'd count that as a win...

Lovely kitty there. I can understand how you were fearful. What a great thing you both accomplished though.

Now I find we're going to move another one! But it should be less worrisome that the first....moving it differently.

I have done something similar years ago, and you have to get it just right. Good job. Love the cat too.

Thanks, that's my sweet Gracie. You know how tricky putting up a deer condo can be. Especially moving one that's already set up.

You're right. But the pressure came from myself. My husband wasn't worried at all!
