March 31 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a very good day.
I'm thankful I got a good workout this morning in the pool and fitness center. I increased my count on the leg press per leg. My strength is increasing. 
It was also easy to do 20 minutes each on the elliptical and stationary bike.
I'm thankful for the two-hour nap I got this morning after I finished the notifications.
I'm thankful I finished two more closets. I have a lot of garbage to go out and several empty boxes. Now, I only need to put the office back in order. It shouldn't take too long. I got one closet done in my bedroom. Only one left in there. Then I'll start with drawers and cabinets.
Okay, that's my day. I finished the notifications again. I'm going to put the office back together so it's nice and tidy again.

@just4him Sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm sure it's something that needs doing all the same.
You know I replied to what I read, and forgot to say what I was thankful for yesterday. I am so bad.

The office closet is done and everything put away. I will get to the drawers and the corner where I have books that don't have a bookshelf and see what I can get rid of or donate. I'll do that after I finish the last closet in my bedroom.

@wolfgirl569 It's been a calm month for the most part. The weatherman said it was warmer than usual for March.

Sounds like another busy day there, but glad it was a good day for you.
Alright day here, other than annoying because Autozone never called over the tail light.

I'm thankful for my nice warm house since it got chilly again.
Glad that you're making progress with your strength and 20 minutes on the elliptical and stationary bike sounds pretty good. Pretty soon you'll be ready to run a marathon

@Marilynda1225 It's good I did. The first was hard for the doctor to suture as I had thin skin. The second the bone was crumbling. Had he waited, I would be in a wheelchair instead of enjoying two new knees. God is GOOD!

I am thankful that I am slowly getting my strength back after fighting a terrible battle with Covid.
I am thankful that my doctor is gong to see me today about my terrible coughing and swollen lymph nodes.
I am thankful that I am going to get to see and hug my two kids for the first time in a month (since I've been sick with Covid).

@just4him I missed my son's 18th birthday because of Covid, so I took him out to Longhorn Steakhouse for a late birthday dinner, and then surprised the kids with a visit to Disney World over the weekend. It was a struggle for me since I'm still dealing with the after-effects of Covid, but we had a great time and the weather was perfect.

Thankful for the gifts of sight and hearing. This morning I awoke seeing the birds at our feeders enjoying the seeds I put out yesterday and heard them singing even though it was raining hard.
