Another of our projects - an old one

We’ve been cleaning the back verandah with a water pressure cleaner. We shifted everything out of the way as the water goes everywhere. What you see in the photo is another of our projects which we would have been completed soon after we came here 17 years ago.
In winter, it holds wood for the tile fire inside. We take the wood away during summer in case we have a bushfire. Then it becomes a holdall for all sorts of things.
The shelves are chipboard and, over time, they’ve got damp from time to time and they’re now starting to show their age. The chipboard came from offcuts at a school and didn’t cost us anything. The steel tubing has been used for many of our projects.
Now I’m waiting for the verandah to dry so I can put all the stuff back. We’re only putting back what we want to keep.

@RebeccasFarm Then I'll have to buy a whole new wardrobe!!! Except that I'm not keen on buying clothes.

That's a very handy set of shelves. Sounds like you have your move under control.

@LindaOHio It could take ages to sell but I'm sure we won't miss what we've unloaded.

@JudyEv If we ever moved it would take 6 months to clear out all the "stuff".

That’s great organizing. I want to clean up in the house too and get rid of stuff. We have too many things that we aren’t even using anymore.

@JudyEv I wish I can say the same. I need more space for my plants.

They hold a lot of wood, probably about a week's worth.

Haha. That would certainly improve it!
I thought of you the other day. We have two speakers to get rid of. They'll probably go to the op shop.

I have never seen a 3 bunk bunk bed. Although you must have shorter people spending the night!

It's held up very well if it is over 17 years old! Also looks and sounds like it has been a very versatile shelf for you over the years.
