And, no, not that kind of high.
I'm refering to my abbility to earn on mylot. Last month, I bought a new laptop, that turned out to be a non-touch screen. After a few days, I'd managed to figure out a posting system. However, my earnings were disappointing at best. I thought it was because I'd been used to a touch screen (and I'm faster on one), but turnd out it'd just been one of those months where my effort was lacking. Yesterday (last day of the month) I made the most in a single day than I had been. Today, I made almost doubble it. So, I know now.... just need to find that groove and post.

Writing what comes to mind, and responding to as many posts as I can within about an hour at a time. I also need to take a break from time to time to do other things, but two-three hours of posting and liking usually yields some pretty good results. Then there are days like today, that turn out to slip past me and before I know it half the night's gone.

@kaylachan You are very productive then. The most discussion i post in a day is three. That’s my max. Most of the day it’s just 1. But I never aimed to earn much in Mylot. In fact, when i don’t enjoy here anymore, I’d rest. When i say rest, i take a break for months.

Not necessary, this a fickle business, its all who interacts. People busy come and go, you can write what you think is the greatest post while others write what you go why did i read this, yet they have a 100 comments and you have one. Where I differed, all hard work is mostly overrated, its just what people like. You figure that out, you have figured out the world. I actually wish our leaders would stop saying work hard because it does not amount for anything other than your own moral being. Very few will ever notice your hard work, why because they work hard too. Its the everyone can be rich approach. No they cannot.

Hard work has it's value, weather it's reconized or not. For example: this site pays based on how much or little you're able to interact. Hence, the more effort you put into posting, the greater the results. Being sure you don't burn yourself, while accomplishing your goals is key. Now.... I'm doing well and making a decent ammount, and I can't blame the laptop for it.

@kaylachan Great point, hard work should be retaught its important for you to survive , one of the most important but keep that mentality for you, not anyone else because all people do is exploit it. IF you want to lend it out as knowledge and skills, please do but lets stop pretending its sole thing that makes us wealthy, hard work is purely a survival skill/.

I can't tell when my earnings are slowing down if it's because I'm not posting as much or not interacting as much or if it's something else. I know it slowed down awhile back and now it's picking back up. I think I got busy and didn't post for awhile but didn't notice because I was so busy.

That would do it, alright. I check my earnings a couple of times a day to see how much I'm making. Sometimes, just looking at the balance it's quite obvious.

I am sure you'll do very well for the month of April, I am usually busy writing most days to earn extra money so I try my best to get here and I am usually happy to make the minimum each month but I was happy to see I was able to make some extra from last month

So far I'm doing quite well and am very proud of what I've earned thus far. Only three days in and I've made a dollar and a half. And, the day isn't over, yet. I'm happy that this is easy to do. And, I can be just as fast.

@just4him I use a touch screen where most people might use a mouse. I'm faster when I use a touchscreen for mouse- related activities, because I can get closer to the screen. Edge has become more screen reader friendly, and I can do more thahings mouse-free.

Same here and for the most part, it works out pretty well for me. Sure, I'll have some bad days and I'll have some good ones. I'm happy with the progress I've made.

That's what I try to do. Some days it's easier than others. But, I'm happy with how well things are going. I know it'll take me at least until mid month to reach payout status, but that just means that I'll easily doubble that and get a bigger payday next month.

Posting does make a difference I've found and I've noticed your weren't posting anything new very often. I will look and see what I might have missed.
I didn't realize there are touch screen laptops along with desktops.

Yeah, there are definitely little tricks to up the ante here. Even on a day like today where activity is way, way down overall on the site I am still earning well. Once you figure out the little tricks...it works quite well and in our favor evem if earnings is not the only reason I am here...
And even if I did not earn I would NOT be here.

Making money, even a little bit, is quite the motivator. I can put my earning to bills and take preasure off my checking account. Being able to give myself that extra peace of mind, even if it's just one bill, makes all the difference.
And, you're right. If I wasn't earning something for my efforts, I don't think I'd last long.
