Was Outside For A Little While

I am so happy that I could finally go outside in the yard and check what is going on over there. First day of warmer weather today after more than a week of freezing cold. I was able to pick up a few broken branches and pulled out some dried stuff. Cant' wait to get back there again, I hope that it will be tomorrow.

We had a warm day today. I could sit on the balcony. Yet, the nice weather isn't here to stay. Snow is predicted for the day after tomorrow. There is saying in German (it rhymes) "April does what it wants".

@marlina It is true, you surely know the French saying "En avril ne te découvre pas d'un fil, en mai fais ce qu'il te plaît". (for M--L. "In April don't remove your clothing, in May do what you like".)

It was a glorious spring day today, so glad that you got outside to work a bit in your yard. My hubs and I took a nice drive out to the lake and walked along the beach. The sidewalk out to the end of the pier is still gated shut because it is too difficult to keep your distance as you walk there. It was so nice so nice to feel the sunshine and breath in that fresh cool air off of the lake.

@marlina It'll depend on how my foot feels and what I need to accomplish in the house too. I've been putting o off some organizing but maybe I can do some of both.

Hope you get some nice weather. Ours is all over with warmer days then freezing. By next week, it should be normal for this time of year and I hope to get some outside projects done too.

@marlina It's cool out but there is sun. It's beautiful. I should be out there but taking a break from working on sorting clothing and packing some away in a suitcase bringing out more lighter things.

We've been doing a bit of yard cleanup here too. We never got quite down to freezing cold (except for maybe 2 nights over the winter), but it's definitely springtime in the yard now.
