We’ve Arrived in Ocean City

I am laying on my bed right now with the door to the balcony open and I can hear the sound of the waves crashing. I can smell salt air!! I’m in love.
This is a beautiful hotel and we got it for under $100 a night. Of course due to Covid there is no room service and the gym is closed but the heated indoor pool is open and the restaurant is open for take out and limited seating,
It took us over 7 hours to get here but it was worth it.
Kasey, Jack and Rosemary are headed to the boardwalk and Al and I are chilling out in our room. The temperature is in the mid 60s so it is just lovely.
The rest stops were not as grueling as I had expected though the food offered was very limited.
We will be here until Friday and it is just a time to relax and not worry about anything,

We went through 5 states to get here. It was 365 miles which took us about 7 hours

I am so glad you got away and are happy about where you went and about your hotel. It has been many years since I went to the Boardwalk. I enjoyed it when was there. I hope you have a great time because you deserve it and have a safe trip home.

Never got into the 70s but the water temperature was 47 degrees I was not tempted lol

@much2say it was a nice room too with a fridge, microwave, table with two chairs great for playing games and lots of tv channels.
