I would like to say spring has sprung but now summer is trying to replace spring

My spring flowers

It's supposed to be eighty outside today. We were supposed to get rain most of this week but it only rained a few hours on Monday so far. Today will be hot though as we have a job to finish. We're going after lunch because there are no trees to block the sun and the sun is in the high windows until after one in the afternoons. I'll try to remember to get a picture of how high the windows are there. We've had years where we didn't get much of a spring as it went from cold temps to hot. I don't know yet whether this year will be the same or not as it's still early. I thought I'd share my spring flowers with you. I found one I don't remember planting. I have two hyacinths. One is deep purple the other has three colors on the same plant; purple, pink and white. I put in one before the flowers were big also. I also have a daffodil and all three are now blooming. I'm getting my second vaccine this morning before lunch. So I took the day off in case I'm sick.

There have been many times we'd go from winter, straight into summer (or it felt like that anyway). This year seems to be warmer already than last year (we seem to have gotten way less rain and none in the forecast). It's fun to see the spring flowers pop up - I do love surprises. I hope all goes well with your 2nd dose (we just got our first on Saturday).

@MarshaMusselman How are you feeling today? I hope you were just fine. I guess we might see a bit of a cool down next week (though that's what they said last week about this week ). But no rain in sight.

So far my second dose isn't causing any issues but I'm not out of the woods just yet. We had rain in the forecast all week but none showed since Monday. Next week will be cooler again.

@much2say I didn't have any side effects from either shot although my employees all were under the weather after their first shots.

It was very cold this morning, now it's not too bad, also the wind is decreasing. Good luck for your second dose of vaccine.

So far things are good after the vaccine but it's been less than an hour.

@MarshaMusselman Those who have reactions have them almost immediately. I think you will be fine.

So far so good but they said the side effects can show up to 48hrs later. They would be only flu type symptoms at least.

Pretty flowers. The weather here is all over the place. Yesterday, 57, today 43. Will freeze tonight again. Tomorrow looks like full sun. Saturday, 70% snow. Come on spring.

Next week looks like it's back into the fifties so maybe I don't have to work about summer coming jus yet. Some trees are starting to bud, which is a month ahead of schedule for us.

@noni1959 I love to see them bloom or bud but it's really still to early here and I've only seen a few so far.

Lovely flowers. I hope the second vaccine went well. We have rain off and on all week too, though our temps aren't that high.

Our temps didn't get that high either and next week they may be back into the fifties. The second shot went well and my arm didn't hurt as long as it did for the first shot. The rain is going around in circles which means it could get stuck here for a while or move on quickly or not even show up.

@just4him I'm sure the temps here will fluctuate between the dishes and sixties. The rain will be checking and we've no idea whether to plan work or not. Time might tell as the week progresses.

@MarshaMusselman It's circling here too. We're getting rain today. I need to get the garbage out before it does. We're in the 50s for the next seven days.

My brother in law said he got the worst reaction after second dosage. No problem with the first one. He got pfizer.

It's been warm here too, in the 80s mostly but I like it hot anyway so no problem for me. Although I don't have colorful flowers at least all my trees and vines are showing their green leaves. Yep, Spring sprung and then some.

I don't mind working outside when it's warm, I always take precautions like wearing a hat if it's in the upper 90s and keeping plenty of water on hand.

We don't have air yet but we have fans. It's still fairly cool inside the house though.

The shot went well and so far no symptoms from it. When I see the bare trees I'm reminded that summer isn't here quite yet.

Pretty flowers. We are going to be around 80 today as well. Rain moves in tomorrow through the weekend for us. The temps will be in the mid 70's with the rain.

@MarshaMusselman You spring flowers are very pretty. We had two weather seasons like you are describing where it went from winter to summer and skipped spring. It is hard to tell what is going on now. We have had some very nice days and right now it seems a little cool out and could warm up later. Good luck with your 2nd shot and hope you do not get side effects. I can see why you prepared yourself for the shot by taking the day off. Take care and I hope all goes well and your foot gets better too.

So far I've had boo side effects from the second shot and I don't I'll have any tomorrow either. My foot might be doing better it's hard to tell but I've found some compression socks that for better than what I've bought before.

A few others spike of snow there too. I didn't realize this is the first you've seen snow this year.
