Finally the raining started

It was sprinkling earlier this afternoon when I went outside to possibly work in some pruning. I figured I missed my window of nice weather and came back inside.
A bit ago it got real dark outside and sprinkled some more and now it's finally raining. We have another job planned for tomorrow morning..I won't know until early morning whether week have to cancel or not. We may get a window of time where it doesn't rain before it begins again in the afternoon.
Like many we need the rain. Our grass is almost green. The rain will help it get the rest of the way there or it should anyway.
Either it quit raining already or it's raining lightly or sprinkling.

Yes, that's him. He's now one. We can use more rain but I would like a break in the morning so we can get a job done.

@DianneN our lawn was weed wacked today and they edged around the sidewalks. We have a small yard and there were at least five guys. I heard one ask, "is that grass?" And I thought, " you better not whack down my tiger lilies". But they just copied down some weeds I think.

@LadyDuck it could have rained all weekend and did rain some in Saturday but not much and nothing on Sunday. If it's raining in the nights I don't know it.

Cute kiddo...rain is happening in many places around here but I don't think we are going to get any. It was a little wet this morning it seemed, but is clear now.

Here in Michigan the rain is traveling in circles do some areas get it while others don't get any. If you're area needs some I hope your get some soon.

@DaddyEvil that's how it was for us until yesterday. We could use less rain this morning-Friday so we can do a job before it begins raining again.

It looks like hot or miss rain and may continue that way. When you got rain earlier this week was it Monday and did it rain very long?
We got a little on Monday and after we cancelled our window jobs the sun came out.

@sallypup I'm not saying they're no good just that when they come out after a good rain the smell is of worms not if spring. Now maybe for you it's the same thing.
