Today's Accomplishments

@just4him I have not done anything out of ordinary this weekend so hopefully this will all work out of my system. I do want to venture out to the flea market tomorrow and hit Dollar Tree to see what is in stock in the crafting department. Also, need to pick up a couple bananna pepper and bell pepper plants since I did not start anything from seed this year.

And I'm still sore. I know better than to push the limits. I just hope a full blown Fibro flare doesn't come on.

@kareng I hope it doesn't either.

Mine are still safe and sound in the dryer. Ha! I'm in no hurry to fold them. I usually compromise and get hubby to either do them or help with them.

@LadyDuck It really doesn't. I have found that he will complain if I ask him to do the hard stuff so I save easy things like folding towels for him.

@kareng I dry the towel and fold them, it takes very little time.

Hubby ended up taking a nap after doing a little mowing in the yard. He's getting a repeat on the upper respiratory infection it sounds like so he started taking his prescription that he stopped because it made him sleepy. So I had a couple hours this afternoon of quiet and most of the night. He went to bed around 8 pm! I told him he should have worn a mask while mowing but nope, that is too much trouble!! Men!

@wolfgirl569 I do too! But if I was all stopped up and couldn't breathe to begin with and go out to mow and stir up dust, grass and pollen; I would wear the mask for a few minutes. Well today he doesn't want to sleep all day/night so didn't take it. He got relief for one day--it's supposed to be a cure all, ya know? Something has to give. He has one blood pressure med he can't take any more. Allergic reaction where his head itches like crazy and fluid pill tears his stomach up. He's a mess right now. Told him to put in call to dr. and let them know so he can get a replacement called in. Nope. Ok so sign in online and send a message. Nope--he hates that system. So he will just have to deal with going to ER or whatever when he has to.

@kareng I hate wearing masks for anything so I can understand that See if you can keep that medicine around. It could be very useful

Tomorrow is going to be a rain day for at least half the day so I'll have the morning free.

@DianneN I would love to send you some of our rain. So far today is looking nice and I am about to get out of the house for the afternoon. A quick trip to flea market to straighten up and then I'm doing a bit of shopping!

@kareng We are having our second cloudy day in a row and hoping for a heavy rain.

It is a lot of work. They need just about constant attention.

@DocAndersen You are exactly right on the twins! We were lucky that our set was not as active as the oldest daughter. We would have been in BiG trouble.

@kareng oh yeah, we had twins, no problem when they couldn't move. But, then there were three years of eyes open running! (they always went in different directions!)

@Bubba90 The afternoon is good. The rain has stopped until tonight and the sun is trying its best to shine. We are going to need a good 5 days in a row to dry this stuff up. Have rain through next Tuesday!

Those are marbles just to take up space in the drinking water to keep them out of it. It helps but not fool proof. Not needed anymore but good for 1-2 day old chicks. You don't want them getting all wet and chilled.

Right, they don't all hatch at the same time. The largest is 4 days older than the last one to hatch.

Yay, it is good to get the laundry out of the way!

I have chilled mostly this evening. I did have an online party for my oldest daughter going tonight but it was only for two hours. I've been trying to catch up on Ebay, emails, etc. I still have some samples to send out and one Farmasi order to get ready to mail tomorrow. Always someting to do here!

Yes one of the two late hatchlings made it.

Thank you. I try to keep food in there for them. Hubby is amazed at how fast they clear it out!! He's been refilling the dishes of food and water too when he is up in early hours of mornings.

I will. They are growing so fast, typical of baby chicks.
