Unidentified Hedge with Blooms

While out running errands yesterday I discovered a row of blooming hedges.
Bees were all over these, so I know the blooms have nectar. Snapped some photos.
Still trying to identify what these are called.
Very nice hedge wall, they lined a parking lot. And all in bloom.
Always looking out for something different to add to my yard.
If I can identify these, maybe they can be added as well.

I think this might be Prunus laurocerasus. It's a relative of the cherry and plum family but it is evergreen and is sometimes used for hedging. I believe that, in America, it is sometimes known as the English Laurel (in England we call it the Cherry Laurel but there is a somewhat similar American tree called that).

So a new field and plant / vegetation variety for you to study and make some interesting notes!
By the way I enjoyed giving a space between an ending word and ! (exclamation mark) here but one Mylotter pointed me about this. So I am back to following the grammar rules.
I do like watering plants and doing some bit of gardening here and there, yet I am not able to remember many names at times.

Bees are attracted to the nectar for sure. I wonder if this is available in my place. Have not seen one.

@CarolDM I hope so they will thrive. I like seeing them but afraid of them.. when I was a child, I got stung. It was painful.

I bet they have a lovely fragrance for the bees to find. Those glossy leaves are lovely, too.
