I know this is not much to discuss, but I am getting a lot of new "followers" lately and never really hear from them at all.

I never take notice of those new followers - as you say we'll probably never hear from them again. Some people don't seem to realise that this is an interactive site - if I comment a few times on their posts and never get anything back I won't bother with them again.

That is mostly what I do. I also check in with people who check in and comment on my posts. Maybe not one for one, but I know who is really connected and who I will expect to see often.

I don't care who follows me but I don't follow just anyone. I have 277 followers but I only follow 128.

Oh, it is not a "rule" as such, but if there is nothing to interact with, I do not follow. I have only blocked one person, and he was asking me to sponsor him coming to the US. I felt he was a stalker.

Yes, and if they have posted something, I will check it out. Hard to do if there is nothing there. I agree, this must be our spring crop.
