The attending physician just came through and was I’d if bl bloodwork looks good I cat sprung from here in a couple of days. Dammit.

Does your X know? Will he go see about the cats? Did they say what kind of infection? Good you are improving then.

REST, my dear. I know, the one thing you need in recovering from illness — rest — is the one thing you can’t get in a hospital. But rest up, it’s good for the healing process. Funny how I never realized that until I retired, because I was always “hurrying” to get will to keep working. Praying for you.

You didn't even tell your family? How did you get this mysterious infection? Does anyone have any ideas? I know someone who got ecoli from something on a cruiseship and she lost a ton of weight. She thought she was going to die as the diarrhea would not stop. She had to take some kind of pill that cost 3,000! I don't know how many she had to take, she had the money to do this, but so many wouldnt!

I'm here on Wednesday, hoping you'lll be able to go home and get some rest. Good thing you got in there though! I hope they get it all iped out and you have a speedy recovery
