Nandina Shrub in Garden

There are four of these Nandina hedges in front of the house, beside the steps. They have matured and seem to be doing well this year. I can see a little burgundy color mixed in with the green, as the season changes as well. They are evergreen and I see the green color all year. I enjoy planting evergreens in the yard. The flowers and blooms are all enjoyed through the spring and summer. But it is nice to have something green to see all year. There are different kinds of Nandina. You can get the smaller ones, called Dwarf. I prefer the ones that get a little taller. Snapped this photo to show you the colors of the leaves.

It is such a pretty and colourful plant. It would do well anywhere as it would compliment almost every coloured flower imaginable.
