He Survived a Sextuplet Heart Bypass

Have been on the phone with my cousin all morning. Her sister passed in February due to complications of COVID. I talked about her in many posts.
Her husband, who had COVID before she did, recovered. He recently found out he has six heart blockages. Surgery was immediately scheduled.
He survived a sextuplet coronary bypass surgery yesterday afternoon. Still in CCU (Coronary Care Unit) of course. A day at a time for recovery.
Prior to COVID, he had some type of heart problems, not sure what. But it apparently has worsened. Thank goodness he followed up with his cardiologist for his annual exam. That is how the blockages were found.

It is really a good thing to have an annual exam. Glad that He`s ok.

Good to hear that she is doing good. It is good to have full body checkup in regular intervals after certain age.

Wow, that is a lot of blockages. I don't know if you heard anything about the lady who is on Outdaughtered. She just found out she has at least one hole in her heart. Poor thing..I had this as well but it was diagnosed when I was an infant and I had surgery when I was a child. Poor lady...and poor cousin's hubby.

@CarolDM It is...she will be OK if that is her only problem it is just the stress and inconvenience of it though. Well the money too of course...but I imagine they have good health insurance.

That's good that he did the follow up. I can't see that covid-19 would have made the blockages worse but what do I know? I'm glad he pulled through from having vivid and now this surgery. Hell be like a miracle man.

Wow 6 heart blockages? I am sorry to hear that...but that is great he survived that surgery!

Your poor cousin, sorry for the loss of her sister and I'm happy her husband is alright now, but wow!
