Food: Do you like the sausage link?

In my country, every province has its own specialty of food. Among all the foods that I want, I cannot resist having sausage links. I prefer the sausage links from Vigan City, Ilocos Sur of my country. They are as long as my hair now. I can have and dip them in vinegar with crushed garlic and salt. It seems like I am craving like a pregnant woman. Are you not craving some food lately? What food specialty that your place is known for? Image Credit: i0.wp.com

I like all kinds of sausages, as long as beef. Chicken sausage does not taste like eating sausage.

I haven't tried the chicken sausage link. In my country, most of them are made of ground pork. Would you like that?

@slianty Really? In my country, we are having a dilemma with pork meat. The pigs were infected with swine flu.

I am not a big fan of sausage links, but I like them grilled time by time. My place is known for Cheese Fondue, raclette, rösti (fried grated potatoes) and local sausages made with the meat of deer or wild boar.

I haven't tried other meat aside from pork. Since it is too pricey to have some, I need to conceal my feelings for not having some sausage link in my system.

@LadyDuck I think it is a good diet to have fish and chicken instead of pork. I am a meat lover but cannot resist not eating pork served on the table.

I do like the sweet one. But then, I prefer the salty 'longganisa' in Vigan. I am not saying being biased since it is Ilocano made.

@Shavkat Virginia form my knowledge of the state is we don’t really have a state food not something that is important to Virginia learning. They call it the states of lovers because lots of people fall in love in Virginia.
