Our anniversary treat

Today was our thirty-third anniversary and I told my husband to pick up a strawberry topped cake. I used to buy them years back for our anniversary but hadn't in many years and thought it would be a nice change. We then celebrated by sharing it with my sister and her partner of fifteen years as they've both had their vaccines also.
We wore our masks while talking and we stayed six feet apart while eating. I got to discuss ideas for our ikea kitchen with my sister and my husband blessed her partner by visiting with him as he's not gone many places in the last year having a heart condition.
My husband hasn't ever seen their ikea kitchen before so we also mainly went to see how well it works for storage.
I'm sure I'll be talking more about this at a later date but in six minutes it will be tomorrow, Sunday and the anniversary was Saturday so see you soon.

I'm glad to hear that you had a nice visit. Hopefully the kitchen thing pans out. Storage can be difficult.

@MarshaMusselman When we bought our house, storage was....non-existant. So we improvised with an old dresser or two as our "pantery".

Happy Anniversary Marsha, I do not remember where we celebrated our thirty-third, for sure we still lived in Monte Carlo.
If you visit the Ikea site online you can see the inside of the cabinets and how you can have them. You are not obliged to have the same inside as your sister.

Oh I know that but I like the idea of having the drawers on the bottom. It would be easier to access what's stores there.

They were happy for visitors. My sister has put two ikea kitchens together with ordering and measuring so she will go down to ikea with us as we really don't know what were doing.
She also has an idea for us to get counter space near or drive which we have never had before.

Thanks and we did and accomplished some things to. Plus I didn't gain any weight from having any cake which was a blessing too.

Lol I haven't always been happy in and with the marriage but I try to look too God for guidance and he placed in my heart the need to stick around and now things are much better than they were.

@MarshaMusselman the most difficult is trying to accept all conditions , but it looks like I'm getting used to it.
My marriage is 11th years old and we still try to accept all the strengths and weaknesses of each other, still far from 33rd years, but I believe we can definitely celebrate our 50th wedding. LOL
