I am not sure if you had seen this kind of veggie in the market. Two days ago, I bought a pack of salted 'sabawil' (velvet beans or mucuna pruriens) It is nothing special about it but considered to be edible to eat. I read some medicinal benefits. Do you have this kind of snack? What do you usually have for snacks?

I never even heard about those beans. I usually do not snack, if I do it is some fruits or sticks of carrots.

I think it is only abundant in tropical islands like my country. I do like to eat fruits and veggies as healthy snacks. This time I cheated with a salty one.

@Shavkat Well, finally the peanuts are beans, toasted and salted, I imagine that the taste is not very different.

I've never heard of this before but just read that Asian countries consider that a "famine food". I don't know why, though. Do you know?

They are beans and considered vegetables in my country. Since it is cooked with salt, then it tastes salty.

Snacks? I like salted peanuts (from supermarkets) or anything with peanuts (eg Picnic chocolate bars). Those beans, do they come in salted form (and crunchy)?
