No More Work From Home.

Starting on Monday, my husband will go back to work at their office. It has been a month that he has been working at home because of the lockdown the government issued due the increase in covid cases.
With still high number of cases, I feel that they should still work from home. Oh well.
We already are registered for vaccination but the supplies of vaccine here is not enough yet. So we just have to wait for the call of our schedule.
do you prefer working from home or at the office?

@rakski a family friend told me, that working at home saves him from wasting precious time doing required social chit chat as well as traveling time to work. He calculated the money he managed to save from that, and was very pleased (he could use that to book a short holiday for his family).

@rakski I enjoy my work both at office and from home, but working from home is more comfortable.

@rakski As the number of corona patients is going up and up everyday.we may be asked to work from home within a week.

During the pandemic, I'm glad I can work from home. I've always done both before but am scared of getting Covid so am just editing manuscripts at home now.
Didn't your government extend the time for businesses to be closed? Or was that in a different area?

@rakski I understand. Some restaurants here have closed completely since we aren't allowed to eat inside them now. Only if the restaurant sells the food out their door can we have it or if an app can be used to have the food delivered.
I don't know how companies are doing here. I don't work in an office so never pay attention to them.

Tomorrow I am scheduled to go swabbing as part of the protocol for us that will be reporting to the office again. I am a bit hesitant to get one since I know how uncomfortable the feeling of being swabbed. I hope that I get a negative result so that I can really report back to work again, else, I will be ordered to be quarantined again if every it shows to be positive again.
Although I am quite confident that it will show a negative result since I am feeling fine and I do not show symptoms at all unless I am asymptomatic of course.

There are upsides and downside of working from home but if I am considering the safety, I prefer working from home.
