Kitty wins. Again.

I used to feed Kitty outside. But then, when the weather got cooler, I started feeding her inside. Sometimes. As I've mentioned, I believe kitty to have been in cahoots with the local raccoons. They would sometimes eat her outside food at night and wash their hands in her drinking water. Over time, it got to the point where she would walk right by dry food in the outside bowl and then sit by her empty inside bowl, staring at me. By mid-Winter, she had trained me to feed her inside only. Kitties always win when it comes to their slaves. But there's one battle I'm winning so far. I have "the hammer"! Can you guess what it might be? Note: Alex Jones agrees with me about the raccoons and thinks evil boyfriend kitty might be involved as well.

Kitty only allows you to pet her if you've been good?

She does give me extra arched backs and purrs if I've been good.

She really does. But I still have "the hammer," and even used it today.

Kitty knows that baby steps work the best. Just give her time.

I can't imagine what battle you're winning with Kitty, since she rules the roost.
