Too Many Contradictions

Throughout this Coronavirus thing I have marveled a bit at the way the left spins things and is, as usual, contradictory in their "structure of thought," and seeming to want things both ways. Nothing unusual there either frankly. Take the masks. According to the left, they work. Or do they? I asked several times during this whole thing, "Where was the flu?" Because we really never had a flu season, did we? In fact, I don't think we heard much, if anything about the flu. The left said, Well, we didn't get a flu season because everyone was wearing masks. But "events" where masks were not worn were often at the foot of any blame for any surges in cases. IF we are to believe that the lack of masks was to blame for surges (except if it was a BLM riot of course), then wouldn't some cases of the flu slipped in as well? I am telling you flu was nearly nonexistent. Is it possible that simple flu cases were tick marked as Covid? Did we actually have a flu season and Covid was it? Just a super flu instead of a regular flu? And what about that vaccine? The one that Trump got us, by the way in case anyone has forgotten about that. It is largely the left pushing for people to get the vaccine and chastising anyone who chooses not to. But wait... Isn't the left all about "my body, my choice?" The very same people who justify ripping babies from wombs is concerned I may be putting someone else's life in jeopardy by not wearing a mask or getting a vaccine? Pardon me if I am confused.

The left is pushing the button on the Fear Factor for sure. I loved the one last week that came out. You can now go outdoors without wearing a mask. Duh!

@porwest Yep! They need their own private institution. I would say island, but that's too good for them. Alcatrez would be better suited for them.

I really think wearing mask or having a vaccine will surely help us preventing to have this virus because we really can`t identify people having the virus. If you`re not sure but you have symptoms of the virus you can take a swab test.

@porwest I think it works because doctors are using surgical mask when they work with sick people. It just that there are a lot of people who don`t follow and other who do suffers because they spread it just like that without them thinking that they have it without symptoms. If people will not cooperate it is useless to use this safety masks. People still goes out even if they already feeling not so good and let other suffer too

@m_audrey6788 But, and this is not directly to you, and not meant to be an insult but rather a simple observation, the FACT is that MOST people were FORCED to wear masks in public. And that means MOST people were wearing masks even if they did not want to. So, the spread has nothing to do with masks on or masks off. I think we have focused too much on the masks, actually, and it has done more harm than good, because we have failed to try to understand how this thing is ACTUALLY being spread. We have clung onto a false sense of security without taking into consideration what is and what is not actually a measure of safety.

I don't understand why people continue to believe masks are effective. Masks on cases surged. Masks off cases surged. I am shocked so many people are missing the fact that we have been wearing masks for over a year now and we are still talking about surging cases of Covid. If they worked, we would not be having this discussion at all. What I am driving at is that we are doing things that do not work, and forgetting that we need to more deeply think about what ACTUALLY works. We're not asking enough questions, and I think a lot of people, for whatever reason, throughout this "pandemic" have simply tossed all common sense out the window. Consider another comparison in contradictions. According to the left walls do not work, but masks do? Besides all that, what sense did it make to suggest it was fine for 1,000 people to roam around Walmart but 50 people sitting in a restaurant for lunch put everyone at risk?

As per the usual for them. They tend to cling to "whatever sounds good at the moment." There is rarely much thought going on behind what they say "in the moment." It is typically quick replies and rebuttals with no further expansion on what they are actually saying.

@porwest Meanwhile while following their whims and directives, people are dying from doing the incorrect measures.

@RebeccasFarm That has been one of the biggest concerns I have had throughout this whole thing. What did we MISS by focusing on ONE solution?

It is compulsory to wear mask once you step out of the house, now the number of covid victims are increasing, the health ministry is implementing stricter rules

Yes. Wearing a mask has become sort of a habit. I do it. But only because I am forced to. I do not think they do a damn thing to stop the spread.

You are perfectly right. They support arbotion by saying"my body my choice" and now we can't get to choose not to be vaccinated. Hypocrites! Now they want people to get a vaccine that is really not a vaccine. They know what it is. They call it vaccine but it's not

@porwest I'm glad you have a first hand experience of witnessing the vaccinated catching the virus. I wonder why they call it a virus. It burns and destroys the lungs. Even those who recovered are still never the same. Bill gates tried to invent a computer vaccine to cure computer virus but he failed. Now he and Fauci are using the world as an experiment. Is COVID really a virus? I doubt it.

On the latter statement I am beginning to believe that as well based on what they are saying now that vaccines may only be effective for about 6 months, AND the fact that I know people personally who got vaccinated and still got Covid anyway.

But the post was really not about whether we should or should not get it. It is about the contradiction in terms between the left and the right. I am trying to let people see the logic and lack of logic in everything that has been argued throughout this.

Did DT actually get the vaccine? Now that you mention it I've not heard about the flu much since covid hit. I wouldn't be surprised if the flu was tagged as covid. The CDC is saying that there is no evidence that masks outside are useful or do anything and that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people do not have to wear masks outdoors. Why did they make everyone wear masks outside since covid started then? And why do people keep wearing them?

Not much to add there. Except when you tire of listening to all the left's flip flopping on the subject and anything Saint Fauci advices just follow this fellow's lead instead....

@dgobucks226 The left is nothing but a flock of sheep. I kid you not. Trump could have KILLED abortion in an instant. All he would have had to do was stand at the podium and say he was FOR pro-choice and the democrats would have fallen over themselves pushing for the reversal of Roe V. Wade. Democrats do not have ideas. They simply have opposition to anything the other side says is right.

I would trust the intelligence of Alfred E. Neumann any day of the week over Saint Fauci. It is a funny thing about old Fauci... Do you think the left would have liked him and followed his rhetoric had he agreed with Trump? If old Fauci would have went up there and told us the truth, that shut downs and masks do not work (which has sort of been confirmed these days), the left would have disregarded anything he had to say. When it comes to the left it matters little what the truth is so long as what they hear follows what they WANT the truth to be.

Every day is another day filled with confusion and contradictions. I never trusted the COVID numbers. It is real, but the numbers are not correct. And yes, Trump is the one who got the vaccines here. Not the other guy.
